So watched Special Assignment - local TV programme - was all about the 32 Battalion and how they are getting screwed again by our Gov. Yip in the old Apartheid days they were the toughest and scariest fighting force that we had. Recruited from Angola to fight against FAPLA (The then Soviet backed Angolan army) They fast became the toughest battalion the old SANDF had. Then after SA withdrew from Namibia they were all given SA citizenship and land to live on ironically the land was an old Asbestos mine. Now the new SA govt. wants to weaken them by splitting them up .... oh how that sounds just like the old Govt.... Hell if I was them I would pick up arms again.
