So what have been up to these past few weeks - on the rugby super 14 pool nothing much got nothing right the great rugby oracle that I have been consulting has been on the freaking fritz...lol...

Last weekend Sandor played on Friday nite at EVOL - which is the old Stags head - was a great set although I must admit I missed a bit of it was busy playing pool in the back with a an old friend that we ran into, and well we just kept winning. Anyway was a great set. Then on Saturday did the family thing as it was my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary - yip 60 years married!!! Was good to see a 30 strong family turn out and I think Sandor is finally remembering all my cousins names connections etc ... Which is great cause I can't even remember them all.

Other than that been pretty busy as always at work - did here some great news that finally after 4 years the Red Hot Chilli Peppers are finally releasing a new double album...YIPEEEE.. Can't wait. Hope they follow it up with a tour and make it down here! - Well I can only hope. The album is called Stadium Arcadium - yip you can Pre-Order it from us.

Well let me get back to pretending to work so that they can pretend to pay me heheheheh....- of course non of the girls are really working as they are all so hyped to go to see their heart throb Robbie yip Robbie fever is at an all time high here in S.A. - To everyone reading this hope you have a happy easter.

Well been back at work a week now :(
Was pure bliss having 2 and a half weeks off, saw the family a lot.
Nice to see my older sister Jen, and meet her new man, Damy (spelling??) P.S. Damy if your reading this any chance to dig those records out ?

On the rugby pool side had a few more wins and then last weekend a loss so now I am still in the lead overall with 22 points but the rest of the crew are catching up with the next best being on 18 so I have to win this weekends round. Other news at work is we had our year end function at Bloemendal wine farm great venue with spectacular views. didn't stay to long or drink to much as I have had a serious lack of sleep the past few days.

Ok now time for me to put my rugby hat on and guess the winners.....
Catch you all on the flipside
Mikee.

Power on ... power off... power on ...power off
Yip since Saturday night we have rolling blackouts. Eskom claims its because of the fires, apparently the soot deposited somewhere and then the sudden rains caused this to f up the power
Wouldn't have been a problem if our old turbines in Koeburg where spinning properly these are under repair cause a bolt came loose...
Best they hurry up and get the pebble bed reactor finished - yip[ we are going to be getting one according to Trevor Manuel's budget speech.
The biggest problem is my work has back-up generators so while some lucky friends have got a mini holiday - we are business as usual.... gggrrrrrr....
Well at least the population in 9 months is going to take a sudden hike. down here in the Western Cape :)

But on a happy note I WON again in the Rugby Super 14 pool - hahahahahhahaha - this has really P's the hardcore rugby manne here in the office.
So now I am 10 pints ahead overall.... kitty come to me come to me .... could do with $$'s

Best I stop now before we the power goe...s...do..................

So watched Special Assignment - local TV programme - was all about the 32 Battalion and how they are getting screwed again by our Gov. Yip in the old Apartheid days they were the toughest and scariest fighting force that we had. Recruited from Angola to fight against FAPLA (The then Soviet backed Angolan army) They fast became the toughest battalion the old SANDF had. Then after SA withdrew from Namibia they were all given SA citizenship and land to live on ironically the land was an old Asbestos mine. Now the new SA govt. wants to weaken them by splitting them up .... oh how that sounds just like the old Govt.... Hell if I was them I would pick up arms again. Anyway you can read more about this famous Battalion here.

So some of the IT guys and girls started a Rugby super 14's pool - basically put five bucks in and guess the teams to win R2 going to a kitty. Well they offered to me jokingly to join in so I thought well bugger you guys and entered. After arriving at work a little late on Friday morning - went pass and quickly guessed the teams to win. Come Monday of course they all had new found respect for me cause I WON...haaa that will teach them that you don't have to be butch to see that a Bull will beat a Shark....Anyway hope I win this week as well as I am now in the lead with 5points.
